The bag I use the most isn’t Gucci or Chanel. It wasn’t made in Paris or Italy with old world craftsmanship. I won’t cry if I happen to tear it or get it dirty. If you haven’t guessed by now, it’s my gym bag! 5-6 days a week I count on this bag for all things pre and post gym sesh. Today on the blog, I’m sharing what my gym bag essentials are!
Dafi Water Bottle
Hi, my name is Lisa and I’m a water addict lol. Seriously, I drink 8-12 bottles of water a day. It’s a healthy enough habit but not exactly cheap at around $50 per month. More importantly, a little research will show you that bottled water isn’t as healthy as you’d think. I started using my Dafi water bottle several months ago and I absolutely love it. You just fill your Dafi bottle with water straight from the tap and their filter technology does the rest. It balances the pH level in my water, tastes super refreshing, and saves me around $100 every 3 months!! Oh and no more empty bottle waters everywhere in my house and car lol.

Victorem Mini Loop Resistance Bands
Don’t be fooled by their cute pastel colors, these bad boys will set your legs and glutes on fire! Ranging in resistance from x-light to x-heavy, these bands are perfect for glute activation days and adding resistance especially to lower body exercises. I can do an entire leg and butt routine without ever leaving my living room.

Stick-Self Roller Massager
“From pain will come pleasure” is the perfect slogan for these muscle rollers. Sure rolling out the tension in your muscles hurts a little but the feeling of knotless ecstasy afterwards makes it all worth it. Rollers improve flexibility, recovery time, prevent injuries, and much more. I love this self-roller in particular because it’s portable and compact enough to fit in my gym bag but durable enough to get the job done.

Naturally Flavored Amino Energy
My favorite supplement! We all need a little pick me up from time to time or an energy boost before a workout. I’m sensitive to caffeine so this is the perfect pre-workout for me and contains BCAA’s critical for muscle maintenance and repair. I prefer the natural flavors to avoid artificial sweeteners but you can choose from over 20 delicious flavors.

Beats
I know the smaller in-ear wireless headphones are all the rage but nothing beats Beats (pun intended) for my money. I like over-ear headphones to completely block outside noise allowing me to focus on the task at hand. They’re not cheap but I am saving all that money on water these days ;).
BONUS TIP: Choose a darker color as gym sweat will ruin your new headphones in no time. RIP my shiny white Beats…you went too soon.

Contraband Workout Gloves
It’s debatable if callused hands are sexy on a man but they’re definitely not on a woman! These Contraband gloves are highly rated, fairly priced, and will keep your mitts silky smooth…like a lady’s hands should be. 🙂

Nike Brasilia 8 Duffle Bag
No “what’s in my gym bag” post would be complete without an actual gym bag. I love my Nike duffle bag for its size and functionality. I’m a petite girl so I hate gym bags bigger than I am! This little number is small and lightweight but still fits all of my gym necessities. On the functionality side, I love the side pocket for my phone/keys and the separate shoe pocket is a must because, well, gym floors.
